What happens between joining and your first competition isn't on any price list. It's here: nine steps, each with a person alongside you.

Three rounds in six weeks
Three rounds of golf together, ideally within six weeks — that's the stated goal of the programme.

At the end
Du fängst anAn RPR round (Registered Private Round — it counts for handicap). The club invites mentor and mentee to this.
You are already inAs an experienced competition player you are paired with a rookie. They gain from what you know, you play your 9 holes.

Du fängst anStarts at 18:10; two tee times are held for rookies in PC CADDIE (the club's booking system).
Du bist schon dabeiTwo tee times on Wednesday evening are reserved for rookies. Playing along turns a tee time into an evening out.

You are starting outThe ideal way into competitions: every rookie is paired with an experienced competition player.
Du bist schon dabeiAs an experienced competition player, you're paired with a rookie. They benefit from your knowledge, while you play your 9 holes — not counting for handicap.
05. + 06. September
Du fängst anFrom a handicap index of 36.1, you play in your own category: 9 holes over holes 1–9 on both days, counting for handicap, scored by Stableford (a points-based scoring method rather than strokes).
Du bist schon dabeiWith a handicap index up to 36.0, you play 18 holes on both days, also counting for handicap — stroke play below a handicap index of 26.5, and Stableford from 26.5 upwards.
At the end of the year
Everything you took part in this year was worth points. The first three receive vouchers, donated by Golfclub Gerhelm and the Frankengolfschule. You get the points rules and the entry card at reception — and you can sign up here.

An existing member walks you through your first year: three rounds together, ideally within six weeks, and an RPR round at the end at the club’s invitation.

If someone brought you along, they are entitled to a reward. Tell them to claim it — the form needs the signed contract.

For every member you refer, choose one reward: a €100.00 credit voucher, a €175.00 cart voucher, or a €285.00 green fee voucher. Just one.
Reserve your rewardThe aim of the mentoring programme is for you as a new member to find your feet in club life — with the knowledge of the existing members who have known the course for years.

Invite your friend who does not play golf to a 9-hole round with us. True to the motto “the most important shot in golf is the first one”, you let them take an active part in what makes golf so absorbing. Together you spend a fine few hours in our landscape.
You get the Member´s & Friend´s voucher with our traditional spring letter at the start of the season; it is also waiting for you at reception. Reception will tell you exactly what the voucher covers.
If you are thinking of someone right now, the spring letter is too late. Request the voucher here — we will put it aside for you or send it out.
