GerhelmScore — our app for the Apple Watch

You can leave the rangefinder at home from now on — the watch on your wrist is enough. GerhelmScore is our own app for the Apple Watch, built for exactly one course: ours. All 18 holes, the real green coordinates, the official scorecard — free, no account and no adverts.

How far to go?

The app shows you the live distance to the green of the current hole — front, middle and back, measured via your watch's GPS. At the start of your round it recognises which hole you're on by itself. And because all the course data lives in the app, it also works where the network doesn't: completely offline.

The pin position — just like on the tee board

A glance at your wrist shows the mapped-out green with sectors A–F and the day's flag, exactly as reported by the greenkeeping team. A swipe changes the hole, and the green flows smoothly into the next shape.

Counting your score — the watch does the maths

You enter your strokes with the crown or the buttons, and the app takes care of the rest: gross, "to par" and Stableford according to the World Handicap System — using your handicap index, the stroke index per hole and all four tees. Along the way, your round runs as a golf workout in Apple Health, with calories and heart rate.

How to get the app

GerhelmScore will be available free of charge in the App Store from the end of September 2026: Get GerhelmScore in the App Store. After installing, open the "Watch" app on your iPhone and install GerhelmScore on your watch — from then on, everything runs right on your wrist. The app needs no account, collects no data and doesn't send anything anywhere; it only fetches the day's pin position fresh from gerhelm.de.
